Hey folks,
Thanks for your time and please please think about being generous to support one or both of the two great charities we are supporting.
The Story: Gordo and Dylan are cycling from a lonely ferry port in Caen, Northern France, down to Pamplona in North West Spain: we'll be carrying all of our luggage (inner tubes, flip flops, boxer shorts & rash creams) in our panniers, without support team to make our way (with our broken French) down the length of their great country to the foothills of the Pyrenees. There we will be sucking up our strength to go 'over the top' of one of Europe's great mountain ranges and into Espana to arrive in Pamplona for the Festival of San Fermin (or as some of you might know it, the running of the bulls).
We'll be taking some of the back roads to avoid busy motorways and then windy mountain roads to deal with the steep ascents so it should work out at about 1,000kms and a fair amount of climbing.
We've selected two fantastic charities that are doing great work and rely on donations from good people like yourselves. It's very easy for us all to slip into busy routines taking for granted the selfless work that people do around us until these causes touch us when you least expect it.
