The name JITZA is a combination of the first letters in the names of my siblings and I. Our names are Jumoke, Ife, Tomi, Zadok and Anu. Our brother Zadok battled cancer for 6years till he went to be with the Lord last year. The impact he left on those around him, his doctors, nurses, class mates, teachers, friends and especially us his family did not go unnoticed. Zadok was an inspirational son, brother and friend. Selfless and kind, he had a Godly nature which continues to be exemplary to everyone who knew him and even to those who did not. He kept an amazing sense of humor and thrived strongly in his faith right up until the very end.
A few days after his passing we started fundraising for C.C.L.A.S.P, a charity that supports families with a loved one battling cancer. A few months later we decided to start fundraising for CLIC Sargent as well. CLIC Sargent supported our family during our brother’s first battle with the illness at aged 10. He had to have his leg amputated due to a tumour and after his operation; they took our family on a trip to Glasgow along with other families who had a child battling cancer. We had the incredible opportunity to meet other families going through what we were, it was an amazing few days and an experience we never forgot. It is why we make a conscious effort to give to CLIC Sargent whenever we organize fundraising events.
This team page comprises our fundraising pages for C.C.L.A.S.P, CLIC Sargent and the fundraising page InSurgery23. We plan to fundraise for CLIC Sargent at a gospel concert held by MOBO award winning artist Triple O called InSurgery23.
