Team Kili Conquerors ( George, Vicki, Sophie, Lynda, Peter, Doug, Heather and Emma) are climbing Mt Kilimanjaro this September and have been training hard for the 6 day ascent to 5895m - Africa's highest mountain and the world's highest freestanding mountain.
As a team we will endure temperatures ranging from 30 degrees at base camp to -20 at the summit as well as the effects of altitude sickness and fatigue.
We decided to take on Kili as a personal challenge, but it would make a massive difference through the cold, wind, uphill and pain to know we are at the same time supporting two very worthwhile charities below.....
Please dig deep and donate now!
Thank you for your support.
