On the tail end of 2015 Jimmy was shockingly diagnosed with Leukaemia. He's been through the works over the past few months receiving several rounds of chemotherapy and we are thrilled to say he has recently undergone bone marrow treatment which has been successful. With true Jimmy style, he has now come through with no less than flying colours and has his sights firmly set on The Qualifying Tournament in June.
We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal. Please choose between Cancer Research UK or Anthony Nolan, who helped to find the bone marrow donor, on the other side of the world. Or both, of course!
On Tuesday 17th May 2016, LSS and friends are joining together for Jimmy to raise money in our lycra to cycle the distance between Wimbledon and the SECC, Glasgow, an almighty 457 miles.
