As you may be aware a friend and fellow member of our Swimming & Lifesaving Team, Anna Marshall was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March 2011, she has received emergency surgery, radiotherapy and is currently undergoing Chemotherapy. To show support to Anna and others in her position the team decided to complete a 12 hour relay swimathon. This took place on Wednesday 22 February 2012 at the UEA's Sportspark. We successful swam for the whole 12 hours along with Anna's husband, Darren and her parents Helen & David, together we covered 23.2 miles (further than the english channel (Dover to Calais)).
