Thank you for visiting my "Quotathon" fundraising page. There is a tradition of the RCVS President raising money towards worthy causes, usually through physical endeavours of various kinds.
At the New Year I set myself the task of posting 100 quotations and reflections on Twitter by RCVS Day, 13 July 2018. On 17 February I hit 50 quotations. For a fund raising with a difference, I am now resetting the target to 150 in total, so another 100 Tweets.
One of the tragic features of the veterinary profession is the highest suicide rate of any profession, and a high level of stress suffered by individual members. All of us our keen to explore every avenue to improve the wellbeing of veterinary surgeons and veterinary students.
So if you have found my favourite quotations interesting, stimulating or just consider one or both of the charities worth supporting, I have provided a route to donate to two charities supporting those struggling with mental health issues.
