Over the last 9 or so years my life has changed a lot. I have gone from weighing 25 stone and only wanting to run after the ice cream van, to having lost nearly 10 stone and running for fun.
For the last three years I have been raising money for different charities by setting myself endurance targets. My first was five marathons in five days, last year was seven in seven days...this year 10 in 12...I know I am not as prolific as some other endurance type runners, but each year is a challenge for me, some new level of pain and endurance to push myself through.
