Last year we a number of us were looking for a challenge. Most of us were already part of a social cycling group so the idea to cycle from Blackpool Tower to the Eiffel Tower was born.
We aim to complete the ride over five and half days, cycling around 90 miles a day.
We are looking to raise funds for two charities that provide much needed services to the people of South Lakeland, where we all live and work. The two charities are the North West Air Ambulance and the Neo Natal unit at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (part of the Morecambe Bay Hospital Charity).
All costs for the challenge are being met by the team members so all the donations will go directly to the charities.
