19 wonder participants have spent a night challenging themselves and raising money to change the lives of vulnerable young people. Their support will give a young person a BRIGHTER FUTURE.
Too many young people in Ealing are in crisis. A quarter of 16 – 24 year olds are unemployed and homelessness is rising. In London there has been a 43% rise in recorded rough sleeping over the past year.
On Friday 1 March at Christ the Saviour Church in Ealing Broadway was surrounded by cardboard boxes - the YMCA national sponsored sleep out event, “Sleep Easy”.
Our Rough Sleepers team have done a wonderful job in rasing over 80% of our team target. I'd like to thank them for championing West London YMCAs cause and for their dedication to fundraising for the Sleep Easy 2013.
