TEAM CUFFY was formed last year following the sad loss of a friend and colleague to cancer.This year the Team are back together to once again take on the challenge of the Bristol 10k.
Our chosen charities this year are THE CHILDRENS HOSPICE SOUTHWEST and THE BLUE LAMP FOUNDATION.
Sadly one of our team has experienced the good work of the Childrens Hospice who care for children who suffer with life limiting illnesses. This wonderful charity works throughout the whole Southwest supporting families through the impending trauma of loosing a young life.
Pc David Rathband was shot in the face during his normal tour of duty. He lost his sight in both eyes and as a consequence his life was changed forever. Before his death he founded the The Blue Lamp Foundation to support the emergency services and their families following personal criminal injury.
