Our Calendar began after Betty Edwards, having climbed Snowdon last year and raising around £400 for charity, decided to go even bigger. She wanted to raise at least £10,000 for the Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice with a Calendar Girls project.The hospice, in the beauiful Conwy Valley, provides regular periods of respite care to more than 70 terminally ill children and their families living in the North Wales area.
Betty somehow managed to persuade 11 more ladies to join her and help her make it happen. It has been hard work, but not only that - a lot of fun has been had along the way!
