Most of us are lucky to be blessed with healthy children and we hope that that good fortune will stay with them throughout their lives.
But like most people we've been touched by the sad loss of some children who only get to spend a short time on this earth, and the families they leave behind.
We see the tireless work of the staff at Derian House Children's Hospice in Chorley, supporting hundreds of families who have a child with a life shortening illness. We know they make a huge difference to the most unfortunate.
Derian House's fundraisers struggle to cover endless bills and the whole team at Abbey Telecom just wants to help them raise the £2.9m they need this year to provide their high level of care and support.
