Professor Barry Furr dedicated his life to the research of drugs for the treatment of breast and prostate cancer. The discoveries he contributed to (including Nolvadex®, Zoladex® and Casodex®) extended the lives of hundreds of thousands of people throughout the world. His death at the age of 71 is a huge loss to the world of science.
