We are taking part in the annual camel racing day at Northaw Point to Point Racetrack to raise money for the Hertfordshire Air Ambulance.
None of us have ever sat on a camel let alone raced them but here we are all jumping in at the deep end in pursuit of a great day out, scaring ourselves silly, providing comedy for the spectators and most of all raising money for the Air Ambulance - something we all hope we will never need but are glad to know it's there if we do.
The Herts Air Ambulance is a charity that provide Helicopter Emergency Medical Service across Hertfordshire and saves lives. It costs £130,000 a month to run, mostly through donations from people like you - so dig deep!
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
So please dig deep and donate now.
