Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

The Coventry to Kiev Challenge:

To raise money for Oxjam Coventry we: two twenty-year-old Oxjam volunteers, Dan and James attempt to drive the 1,634 from Coventry to the Kiev in the Ukraine in a twenty-year-old Ford Fiesta. Their aim is to raise £2,000 and to raise awareness about Oxfam’s work. The car will be painted in the Oxjam Coventry logo – which means a bright pink Fiesta – something that may be easy to spot for anyone sharing the same route down to Dover and possibly beyond. If you see them, why not give them a wave – or better still – a small donation to help Oxjam Coventry support Oxfam’s fight against poverty.

Since the first Oxjam festival in 2006, £1.5 million has been raised. That’s enough to buy 13,000 emergency shelters, 60,000 goats or 900 classrooms. These are things we take for granted but mean the world to those fighting poverty.

That’s why Dan and James want to get involved and make a difference.
