In March '11 Jodi took part in the local BHF bike ride along with her family and much loved nephew Tyler. Having completed it we wanted to do something bigger in 2012 so had planned to train for the London to Southend Bike Ride of 52 miles... so we're still going to attempt it in her honour and memory. .......... thank you so much from her family & fiance...
Her donation page at the time read: Quote " As most of you know i had a rubbish year when i was 16! i suffered cardiomyopathy then had quite a struggle until i got my heart transplant when i was 17. The care i received and technology used was all thanks to charities like this, helping understanding and improving medicine and technology, so i owe my life to them. I would be so grateful for any sponsors however small. This march 26th i will be doing the 10mile sponsored cycle. I dont think my ol' ticker could handle the 74 mile cycle in the short time i'd have to train but i do plan to do that one next year when i can train for longer! Thankyou all xxx " unquote.
