We (Eleanor Kaye, Chanju Mwanza and Esmee Wilde) are planning to do a triathlon in order to raise money for two charities in Africa (Neema Crafts and African Revival) and one locally in Loughborough (Rainbows). We are hoping to raise at least £300 so we can make a real difference to people’s lives. The charities that we are hoping to help are:
· Neema Crafts in Tanzania which transforms the lives of people with disabilities through handicrafts training and employment.
· Africa revival which works in Zambia, Uganda and Somalia and helps to provide quality education for children who otherwise would not have been able to go to school.
· Rainbows hospice in Loughborough who are dedicated to helping terminally ill children in the East Midlands and provide care for them and their families.
We have decided to run 10km, cycle 40km and swim 1.5km over three consecutive days. This is the same distance of an Olympic triathlon; we will be pushing our fitness to the limits!
We’d really appreciate it if you decide to donate, to do it to the charity with the least amount of money, as we are hoping to raise an even amount for all three charities.
You can also donate via text by sending these codes to 70070:
KCTP80 £1 for Neema Crafts
NDPK57 £1 for Rainbows
PTXN72 £1 for African Revival
