This web page shows the total money raised online for charity by all 14 houses at Marlborough College. It also shows how much money each individual house has raised and therefore, which ones have been the most successful.
A summary of what this is all about is below:
As you might have already read, the school has undertaken a 20 mile walk every 5 years for a number of decades. This year, the school has chosen to give 50% of the money raised from each house to two charities: the Lord's Taverners and the Kempson-Rosedale Enterprise Trust.
The Lord's Taverners is a charity working across Britain which aims to promote cricket, as well as other sports. It is also the UK's leading sporting charity working for people with disability.
The Kempson-Rosedale Enterprise Trust is a charity which gives adventurous youths the opportunity to undertake challenging and life altering expeditions. We have chosen this charity because of its obvious links to our much loved Mr Rosedale.
Meanwhile, the other 50% of whatever each house raises will go to a charity of their choice. To find out more about each House's individual work or about their chosen charity please click on the House's link below.
