It has come as a bit of a shock to me that I have agreed, that at the crack of dawn on the 2nd of July, I will be amongst 20 pink-lycra clad souls setting off to cover the 300 odd miles between London and Paris by bike.
Our group is of a range of abilities; from experienced near-pros down to rank amateurs (namely; me). Despite all the training and words of advice and encouragement (thank you to all responsible for said words), I still have a sense of trepidation that it is going to be a bit of a challenge!
We’re raising money for a very worthy charity, Breakthrough Breastcancer. If you could spare a few pounds of sponsorship it would be hugely appreciated by myself, the other 20 Men in Pink and Breakthrough Breastcancer. Knowing I’m helping a worthy cause will be that little bit more motivation I need to keep the pedals turning at the top of that last big hill!
