The trek
On 29 September 2013 a team of like-minded people is setting out for the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via the 8 day Lemosho Route.
At 5,895m, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest walkable mountain in the world and therefore requires no technical experience or equipment. Reaching the roof of Africa is however a considerable and, at times, gruelling challenge. The midnight ascent to the summit is the toughest test both physically and mentally but the effect of being at altitude will also play its part throughout.

Fundraising
We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our overall team fundraising target on the right.
We're supporting a number of different charities so please be careful to select the right person and the right charity when clicking 'Dontate'.
Your donation can really help us smash our fundraising goals.
Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
So please dig deep and donate now.
