Being such a keen explorer from a very young age, I have trekked in the Andes and throughout Snowdonia National Park, but now I want to experience something bigger. I have been given the opportunity to join a small goup of people, including my brother and my dad, to trek up Mt. Toubkal in Morocco, Africa. At 4167m, this is the highest peak in North Africa. This will be a huge personal challenge for me, not only being the only female member of the group!!! but enduring some of the worse weather conditions of the year on the mountain. We will be trekking mid winter in February, so learning how to use crampons and ice axes will be my first challenge.
I want to be able to share this experience with everybody I know and give something back to the community by raising money for some very deserved causes which mean alot to me:
