Rumble in the Kitchen is a white-collar boxing match – with saucepans! Celebrities from the world of hospitality have decided to lay down their whisks and step into the ring to battle it out. After just six weeks of training, like a good soufflé, they’ll rise to the challenge. Boxers include: Monica Galetti, Marcus Wareing, Fred Sirieix as well as Andrew McLeish, Andrew Sicklin, Dean Yasharian, Emile Galvin, Hayden Groves, Kamal Manhas, Luigi Vespero, Matt Wilkin, Michele Caggianese, Omar Allibhoy, Paulo De Tarso, Sam Harrison, Stefan Chomka and Will Holland.
The battle will continue into the kitchen with our more sensible chefs delivering a sumptuous banquet. Raymond Blanc (Le Manoir), Michel Roux Jr (Le Gavroche), Chris & Jeff Galvin (Galvin at Windows), Daniel Boulud (Bar Boulud), Brett Graham (The Ledbury) and Philip Corrick (The Royal Automobile Club) will combine their culinary skills to knockout our guests.
With such an infamous line up, this unique event offers the opportunity to settle some culinary scores.

The evening is raising funds for our into-work programme, Galvin’s Chance. Galvin’s Chance is an inspirational ‘into work’ programme leading to an apprenticeship, college programme or sustainable employment. The programme targets disadvantaged and at risk young people aged 18-24 not in education or employment, and offers them training and opportunities for a front of house career in some of the most prestigious establishments in London. Galvin's Chance (and Rumble in the Kitchen) are the brain child of Fred Sirieix. The programme contributes to existing initiatives which target specific problems that can arise in these critical years including anti-social behaviour and youth crime. Through principal partnership arrangements with Hilton in the Community Foundation, The Springboard Charity, Westminster Kingsway College and Hilton Hotels, the project provides activities, mentoring, work experience, skill training, qualifications leading to NVQ level 2 and employment. It is designed to give all of the young people on the programme the skills, the support and the opportunities to start a career in the hospitality industry; and to change their lives for the better and to inspire those around them.
