Following last years successful 3 Peaks Challenge, a group of Buckinghamshire lads have joined together to form the Swanbourne Hadrian's Wall Challenge Team. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. We are raising money for two charities: Medical Detection Dogs and Wooden Spoon Trust. Both charities close to our hearts. The Hadrian's Wall challenge is an event in which participants attempt to walk the length of Hadrian's Wall in 48 hours.
Total distance covered by the walkers will be 84 miles from Bowness on Solway to Wallsend and the cyclist will attempt to ride the 174 mile from Ravensglass to South Shields.
These are the two official routes for walkers and cyclist.
The date of the challenge will be; starting on Sunday 6th July 8am finishing by 8am on Tuesday 8th July.
