Go Help and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) have partnered together to drive six recently decommissioned ambulances in convoy on the Mongolia Charity Rally 2011, from London to the Mongol capital of Ulaanbaatar, setting off on the 9th July. I am lucky enough be part of ‘Team Temujin’, and driver of one of the ambulances in a Go Help team that will be taking part. Once the ambulances reach Mongolia, they will all be used to support Go Help’s flagship ambulance service. This collaboration therefore aims to get all six ambulances to Mongolia (in one piece!) and also raise funds for Go Help who support projects in Mongolia such as the Ulaanbaatar Child Centre and National Rehabilitation & Education Centre for Disabled Children, and the money raised by Team Temujin for Go Help will go directly towards projects like these. So please dig deep and donate now. :o) Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
