The girls at VGC have joined together as a team to tackle a 5km muddy obstacle course in order to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma research on 27th July 2014 in Hammersmith.
The team consists of Alice Dupree, Ciara Pryce, Christy Townsend, Laura Edwards, Julie Norris, Nirvana Murray, Shanelle Wells, Fiona Dowling, Marilu Pittelli, Gemma Ellington, Victoria Sadler and our coach, Laura Kenneally.
With no sporting pedigree and an aversion to getting messy this is a real challenge for all of us.
Over the next few months we will be training hard and selecting outfits that will stand up to a mud soaked afternoons activities.
We hope you can dig deep to sponsor us for this really worthwhile cause and help us smash our target, If you are free on the day please come down and cheer us on.
