Some of you have been coming to this walk for a number of years and you have all helped make the event a huge success. If you are thinking of coming for the first time, I suggest put your thoughts into action! You will be truly surprised and mesmerised by the beautiful location and lifted by the company of so many lovely people.
Last year we raised just under £3,000, enabling Action Village India to continue providing much needed funds to help the most disadvantaged women in southern India, through a number of projects run by their partner organisations including; funding girls education, offering a range of initiatives to women starting up their small businesses and increasing awareness of health related issues. The walk will start at 10:30am and participants will walk in small groups around the lake until 3:00pm. Please come and join the group between these times and walk for as long as you wish. Food and refreshments will be provided and first-aid will be available too. All you need to do is turn up in comfortable clothing and footwear to suit the weather.
