The Airfield Volunteer Fire Service (AVFS) was set up in 1994 to provide Fire Cover on flying days for The Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden Aerodrome near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Twenty Three years on we are still ' Protecting the World's Aviation Heritage' and we do so much more besides.
