About Baby Basics Chelmsford
Baby Basics Chelmsford is a volunteer led charity.
It is a part of the Baby Basics UK network of baby banks and a member of the Baby Bank Alliance.
Baby Basics Chelmsford aims to support mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial burden when welcoming a new baby. We provide essentials such as a Moses basket as a safe space to sleep with mattress and bedding, clothes from birth to six months, nappies and wipes and toiletries for both baby and mum.
Our local community generously supports us by donating new and pre-loved items, but due to the cost of living crisis we are experiencing an increase in the number of referrals and a reduction in the number of donations.
To continue providing this much needed support, we often need to purchase items to meet the demand.This is our first JustGiving Appeal for help, and any donation is greatly appreciated.
