The Bar Choral Society is a non-audition choir based in Temple with singers drawn from across the legal system. In addition to judges, barristers and pupils, members include solicitors, trainees, students, those who work in Chambers, the Inns, and their families. The Society gives two or three concerts per year, many with professional soloists and orchestras – performing everything from Gabrieli to Gershwin, Byrd to Bernstein. The choir’s activities are supported through member subscriptions together with ticket sales and donations.
