A Wish Come True has been granting wishes for children since 1982, however, today we have expanded our programming and include A Wish of Wellness for our Families. The Wish is an opportunity for families to regroup, relax and build memories. The Wish of Wellness includes emotional, physical and financial support to help the families as they struggle balancing life challenges with raising a sick child. I had to stop working and I don't know when I'm gonna be able to go back to work. I'm the head of my family, I'm responsible for paying all the bills, but unfortunately right now I can't, and I want to make sure my kids have a place to stay in this tough situation.
Since my husbands hours have been cut at his job, it has drastically reduced his weekly take home pay. After taking money out for our mortgage payment, we are left with about $200 for bills, utilities, groceries and other expenses. Its just not enough to get us through.
As a single mom I had to stay at the hospital with our son from March 15th - April 1st with complicated pneumonia and several complications, all while taking time out of work. Due to the current Covid situation, and my sons compromised immune system, we are now under quarantine. I am forced to use all my vacation and sick time. I would appreciate any help available.
