This program has the ability to build confidence and provide a new understanding of what one can accomplish as a leader. For most of the year, these students meet and take on leadership framework focused on lessons provided by a specific Disney movie. After that year-long process, the group travels to Orlando, FL to tackle the Disney Youth Education Series: College Edition. Each morning, the students participate in one of four classes taught by Disney educators.

Cohort I Participant and Cohort III Co-Coordinator, Max Kirkpatrick said: My favorite class was Disneys Creativity: A Leaders Role for a variety of reasons. Not only was the class hosted in a part of the park that I wouldnt have been able to see as a regular guest, but the class itself gave me an opportunity to do something that I have never been able to do throughout my life. It gave me the chance to serve as a project manager, to lead a large group of my peers, and oversee their creative process. For the rest of the day, my mind was filled with a new confidence and thoughts of just how great that opportunity truly was.
