Following an exciting 2023-24 hockey season that ended one goal short of a conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance, Franklin Pierce Women's Ice Hockey looks ahead with excitement to all of the opportunities on the horizon in the 2024-2025 season!
The challenge in front of us continues to be a significant one in terms of being the smallest enrollment of any school operating their program at the NCAA D1 level. Over the years, in addition to supporting our general operating budgets for recruiting, meals, and ice time, our fundraising has allowed us to update and improve our locker room, purchase STEVA, an advanced video editing system and Instat, an analytical stats tracking service that will allow our players to further their development on the ice. In addition, we have also purchased a Sparx machine which allows our students access to one-touch skate sharpening services. The past two seasons, supported by our fundraising, we were able to travel by plane to compete in non-conference games in Minnesota for the first time! Additionally, our fundraising also supports our recruiting efforts to continue to identify top student-athletes who can continue to build on the sturdy foundation of our program.
Thank you so much for your generous support of our program and the great student-athletes who are a part of it! We look forward to continuing to have a positive impact on the campus community through athletics, academics, and community service. We extend our best wishes for continued health and safety to all of our loyal Ravens hockey supporters and family!
