Organised by Path2freedom IncFreedom Runs is a challenge to all avid runners and walkers with a passion to step out and make a difference for child survivors of human trafficking by raising money for Path2Freedom.
Story
Florida is ranked 3rd in the nation for reported cases of human trafficking. Once rescued, these survivors are in need of safety and long-term recovery care to heal and free them from the effects of great trauma. In 2022 alone, the Department of Children and Family Services reported 337 CSEC (Commercially Sexually Exploited Child) children identified, but only 31 safe beds available across the state of Florida. Path2Freedom is a part of that 31.
The need is great and Path2Freedom's growth strategy is to continue to fill this gap in serving child survivors of human trafficking.
