The path home from the loss of a loved one doesn’t have to be uphill.

Hike For Hospice is so much more than a walk. Each participant and every dollar raised ensures that your loved one’s memory continues through everything we do. The proceeds from the event support Androscoggin's hospice program to ensure all Mainers have access to high quality hospice care, regardless of their ability to pay.

Although our hike is scheduled from 9am-1pm, there is no designated start time - participants are encouraged to come and go as they please. Enjoy our event festivities of hiking a traditional or ADA compliant trail, live music, face painting, refreshments, and family fun, and take advantage of beautiful Pineland Farms by visiting the animals.

We welcome each team to create a team t-shirt, incorporating our Hike for Hospice Maine logo into the t-shirt design of their choice. Each participant will receive a link to download our logo upon registering. We will be hosting a team t-shirt contest during the event where all participants will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite - please bring one extra t-shirt for our on-site display. The winning team will be announced during our closing remarks, beginning at 12pm.

• Participants raising $100 by April 1st will receive a Hike For Hospice Maine t-shirt.

• Participants or teams raising $250 by May 1st will have the option to decorate and place an in memory/in honor sign on the trail. (signs and stakes will be provided by Androcoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice).

• Participants raising $500 or more will have the opportunity to have an engraved memorial paver stone installed at the Androscoggin Hospice House during our annual dedication ceremony in the fall.

• The team with the most team members and the team that raises the most funds will each receive a surprise.
