JOTF helps workers overcome barriers to economic success. Because of donors like you, JOTF bailed 24 people out of jail for non-violent offenses, and helped over 1,200 people graduate from Project Jump Start. Because of donors like you, 3,400 community members receive ongoing case management support. Because of donors like you, in 2020, JOTF supported 13 forms of legislation to protect workers and decriminalize poverty and race, and 11 of them became law. JOTF opposed three forms of legislation that would limit workers or criminalize poverty and race. Zero became law. Because of donors like you, JOTF will soon release a report on the socioeconomic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on low income workers of color. As we look ahead to our 25th year, we are at an inflection point. We know that JOTF can grow to transform the lives of many more workers, and be a model for change for the rest of the country.
