JOTF helps workers overcome barriers to economic success. Because of donors like you, in 2020, JOTF supported 13 pieces of legislation to protect workers and decriminalize poverty, and 11 became law. We opposed three pieces of legislation that would limit workers or criminalize poverty or race. Zero became law. We helped over 1,200 people graduate from Project Jump Start, and bailed over twenty people out of jail for non-violent offenses. Over 3,400 community members receive ongoing case management support. Because of donors like you, JOTF will soon release a report on the socioeconomic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on low income workers of color. As we look ahead to our 25th year, we are at an inflection point. We know that JOTF can transform the lives of many more workers, and be a model for change.
