Latinx Heritage Month is from September 15th to October 15th! We are excited to embrace this opportunity to celebrate the diversity and histories of our growing Latinx and Indigenous communities in Brooklyn and across New York City, contributing to the vibrant mosaic of our society. 

We invite you to join us in this celebration by supporting our community in a meaningful way. Sign up to fundraise during Latinx Heritage Month, by hosting a corporate fundraiser or group volunteer activity on behalf of Mixteca & Latinx and Indigenous communities in need. Your support will enable us to continue our vital work and rapidly respond to the needs of our community.

As a token of our appreciation, we will randomly select two participating organizations to attend a special cooking class and dinner at Mixteca, led by our cherished Abuelitas, from our 'Abuelita’s' program. This promises to be a heartwarming and culturally enriching experience bringing people together to savor the flavors and stories that make our Latinx and Indigenous communities so special!
