Story

Over the Edge provides signature urban rappelling events as fundraisers for non-profits across the globe, helping non-profits raise over $100 million since 2008. On September 1, 2022, their team of experts will come back to Milwaukee to conduct a rappelling event down the 10-story, 147-ft tall Wintrust Commercial Bank Building located at 731 N Jackson Street and the MACC Fund wants YOU to take part!

Safety is, of course, everyone's top priority. All OTE events have highly trained industrial rope specialists, all of which are IRATA or SPRAT certified. Every OTE site is set up as an industrial work site, with compliance to all OSHA laws and SPRAT governing procedures. Each event site has a comprehensive Site Inspection & Safety Plan completed, and if every potential risk cannot be mitigated, the site will not be deemed suitable for use. On 11/15/19, the Wintrust Building at 731 N. Jackson has passed all safety inspections. To date, there have been over 55,000 unique rappellers who have participated in OTE events and there has been one hospitalization for an allergic reaction to a bee sting!

MACC Fund Goes Over the Edge 2022 will raise critical dollars and make a direct, significant impact in the world of childhood cancer and blood disorders research, helping provide HOPE for kids!
