Suffolk County Community College "Shark Shuffle" Virtual 5K Walk/Run 2020

Calling all runners, walkers, scooters, skateboarders, rollers and dog-walkers! Join us for the first-ever virtual Shark Shuffle 5K! The weather is still great and so many of us have been taking advantage of getting outside and exercising more often during the time we've spent at home. Now is the time to harness your workout toward a really important cause - raising funds to support student scholarships at SUNY Suffolk.

Just reach 5K (3.1 miles) between October 12 - 26 and you'll be eligible for fun prizes, while helping to make the dream of a college degree become a reality for more Suffolk students. You don't even have to log in your miles we trust you and know you'll do your best to reach the 5K.

Getting started is easy!

Virtual participants should simply submit a $25 entry fee by clicking the orange START FUNDRAISING button and naming your fundraising page. This amount will be allocated toward your donation total, and you'll receive a participant Mask.

Then ask your friends, neighbors, relatives and co-workers to sponsor you by going online to your fundraising page, clicking DONATE button and inserting their donation amount. Their contribution will then be allocated toward your fundraising total.

To show our appreciation for your fundraising efforts, participants can earn additional Suffolk swag as they raise additional donations.
