Story

The coronavirus pandemic has seen millions fall behind with their learning. And in some of the toughest places in the world, many more are finding it even harder to get good food and healthcare the things every child needs to be healthy, happy, and free to play.

Play is so important for children. Its how they learn, explore the world around them, make friends, and feel good. And whens that ever been more important?

PUT A SPRING IN YOUR STEP

Together, we can help children whove missed so much get back to the serious business of playing. Were asking you, our amazing supporters, to make the most of our newfound freedom to meet up with loved ones again and enjoy the warmer weather. Were asking you to Walk the World for children.

Sign up to Walk the World, and the money you raise will help get food, medicine and education to children in places like Syria, Yemen and Myanmar places where theyve lived through war, and then through the pandemic. Youll be walking to make magical moments of play possible for millions of children across the world. What better way to put a spring in your step and help build a brighter post-Covid future?

Once you have registered for your walk, please email fundraising@savethechildren.org.uk to request your fundraising pack.
