Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The challenge is to walk (virtually) to chosen countries to highlight the work of Save the Children. The countries include the UK, Syria, Yemen and Bangladesh (Cox's Bazar Rohingya refugee camp).  The Midlands team has chosen to walk the 2786 miles to Syria over the course of the summer.

Syria has already suffered 10 yrs of conflict so there are many children who have never known peace.  Save the Chidren has been supporting families in Syria as well as those who have fled to neighbouring countries since 2012.  In 2019 over 400,000 children were supported.

As Covid spread in 2020, threatening the lives of children already enduring continued conflict and hardship, one of the charity's main aims was to keep as many children as possible in education.  Save the Children also provides food, healthcare and protection to Syrian children.

Please support us in this challenge if you possibly can!
