Students enrolled in the class Sustainable Development Goals and Local Action began the Spring semester exploring hunger as a sustainability issue in partnership with North Texas Food Bank. Students are now building upon that partnership and engaging the UTD Community, and beyond, with the #WhooshAwayHunger campaign in order to raise funds to mitigate the increased food insecurity caused by COVID-19.
