Future Healthcare Professionals is raising money for North Texas Food Bank

Solve Hunger for Health · 22 May 2020

Join the North Texas Food Bank in fighting hunger in the community! The North Texas Food Bank is working to fight hunger for the more than 800,000 people in North Texas who don't always know where their next meal will come from.

Story

Join students at UT Dallas Molding Doctors, AMSA, AED, the Comets Hospital Elder Life Program, and other healthcare student groups to Solve Hunger for Health.

Students enrolled in the class Sustainable Development Goals and Local Action at UT Dallas began exploring hunger as a sustainability issue in partnership with North Texas Food Bank. Now, the Dallas pre-health community is taking action, building upon this partnership and engaging the community with the #WhooshAwayHunger campaign to mitigate the increased food insecurity caused by COVID-19. We invite you to donate as you are able, and share the #WhooshAwayHunger campaign as our future healthcare professionals support the North Texas Food Bank in their crucial work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJJZ-G0h4AU
