By creating a fundraiser through our Research Campaign, your donations enable researchers and partners to conduct and support a wide range of research that will improve healthcare across our island hospitals for the future.
Our donors are critical in helping make advancements in healthcare. By enabling Island Health to conduct and support a wide range of research, our teams can not only create new knowledge to improve health and care in our communities, but discovers the most effective ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases through clinical trials. Our skilled staff and clinicians are engaged by working together with researchers to ensure that the right patients receives the right treatment at the right time and can apply research evidence to improve health services, support policy decisions, and strengthen our healthcare system.

When a cognitive health illness impacted our family and we began to understand this issue, we realized that while much research has been done, there is still so much more to do to solve the riddles around cognitive diseases. We reached out to the healthcare professionals in Victoria and asked how can we help? The vision they created for this project resonated with us.
