Story
Double your impact for the faces and places that make Washington's national parks unforgettable this Giving Tuesday.
From the tiny pika with the mighty “meep” to the volunteers restoring meadows one shovel-full at a time, the parks are full of faces worth fighting for. And right now, your gift goes twice as far.
‼️ Through midnight on Giving Tuesday, every dollar you give will be matched up to $20,000 thanks to generous supporters — meaning your $25 becomes $50, your $100 becomes $200, and your impact stretches even farther across Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. ‼️

This Giving Tuesday, Washington’s National Park Fund is shining a spotlight on the wildlife, people, and wild places your generosity protects. These are more than beautiful landscapes — they’re living, breathing communities that depend on steady care.
Your donation supports work like:
🐾 Tracking the “meeps” of the American pika to understand climate vulnerability
⛑️ Training volunteers who restore Mount Rainier’s meadows, survey wildlife, and keep trails safe
👀 Monitoring Olympic marmots (yes, the “Marmoteers” are real — and they’re fantastic)
🐻 Keeping bears and visitors safe in the North Cascades through the Bear Essentials Safety Program
🌲 Reforesting whitebark pine, a keystone species holding entire ecosystems together
Every gift, no matter the size, helps someone — or something — thrive.
These are the faces of the parks. Help us care for them. Help us reach our $40,000 goal.
And thanks to the match, help your impact go twice as far.
Let’s do this — for the pika, the marmot, the hikers, the scientists-in-training, the meadows, the trees, and every other face that makes these places extraordinary.
Why our work matters:
Washington's National Park Fund (WNPF) is on a mission to raise funds to preserve and enhance the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and recreational opportunities of Washington’s national parks so they remain vibrant, thriving ecosystems and cherished destinations for future generations.
Every year, Congress sets the National Park Service’s budget, but it often falls short of covering the growing needs of Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. That’s where Washington’s National Park Fund comes in. We fund projects that improve visitor experiences, support research, maintain trails, and increase accessibility. Your GivingTuesday gift helps bridge these funding gaps.
