Story
This Giving Tuesday, I’m raising funds for the faces and places that make Washington’s national parks so incredible.
My late husband, Don, was involved in Washington’s National Park Fund starting in the 90s; over the course of our relationship, the Fund has held and continues to hold a special place in my family’s heart. The work they do is critical to supporting our national parks and those who work to maintain them, and we look forward to supporting them for years to come in his memory.
Will you join me in supporting Washington’s National Park Fund and the incredible work happening in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks?
Right now every donation is matched up to $20,000, so by contributing to my efforts, you can feel good knowing your gift goes twice as far for the parks.
Your support helps protect tiny but mighty pikas, monitor Olympic marmots, keep bears and visitors safe, restore meadows and trails, and strengthen fragile forests and alpine habitats. These are the faces of the parks — wildlife, volunteers, hikers, students, and so many others — and they need all of us.
Please join me in giving and help Washington’s National Park Fund reach its $40,000 goal!
