Bringing hope and joy to underprivileged children through the generosity of strangers. We appeal for public donations of gifts and toys for children from birth to 16 years. At Easter we pack craft kits, a reading book, stationery and an Easter egg; to keep children active during the summer holidays we send two outdoor toys, a reading book and stationery and at Christmas they receive three toys, a reading book, stationery, a personally signed Christmas card, so that the children feel seen and cared for, and some Christmas chocolate. All donations are examined and sorted into age and gender groups before being packed into bags and distributed through food banks, homeless families units and childrens’ charities. Most of the contents of the bags are donated through our drop-off points, but we will buy extras where needed to make sure that each bag will bring joy to a child. We also run a Hygiene Hub, providing monthly deliveries of hygiene products to four food banks. Our charity is run entirely by volunteers, who take no expenses, so every penny raised will benefit children.
