About us
Betsi At The Marsden was born from our daughter Betsi’s cancer journey. At just nine years old, she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma and endured intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy across London hospitals. During her treatment, we saw how often she was disturbed while resting so medical teams could access her lines — sometimes needing to remove her pyjamas completely, even in the middle of the night.
When a child is fighting cancer, rest is not a luxury — it is essential. Yet so many young patients are left feeling exhausted, vulnerable and self-conscious at a time when they need comfort the most.
So we created specially adapted pyjamas designed to allow medical access with minimal disturbance. They help children stay covered, feel more “normal”, and most importantly, sleep and heal with dignity.
Our mission is simple: to provide a free pair of adaptive pyjamas to every child in the UK undergoing cancer treatment. With over 1,000 children in treatment each year, your support helps us bring comfort, confidence and care to families facing the toughest fight of their lives.
