About us
Connect Outdoors connects people, nature and community across the Isle of Man.
We use the Island's coast, woodland and upland environments to improve lives, reduce health inequalities and build stronger, more connected communities.
Our work spans green health (nature-based activities supporting wellbeing and confidence), blue health (water-based and coastal activities that reduce stress and improve mental health) and education (accredited outdoor learning that builds skills and positive pathways).
Our current programmes include CHILL, a cold water and blue health initiative; Neurotribe, supporting the autistic community through nature; and the Woodsmen Project, a nature-based men's wellbeing programme. From January 2027 we are also launching a Nature Connection and Wellbeing Qualification, giving learners a recognised, accredited route into nature-based skills and wellbeing.
As a UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man Partner, environmental responsibility runs through everything we do. Our programmes are designed to be inclusive by design, reaching some of the Island's most marginalised groups and ensuring the benefits of nature are accessible to everyone.
Your support helps us reach more people who need it, and helps us grow these programmes for the future.
