Samaritans is a confidential, non-judgmental listening and support telephone helpline operating 24/7 for people experiencing mental distress. Our vision is that fewer people die by suicide. Our trained volunteers encourage callers to explore their feelings, which alleviates distress and helps them to reach a better understanding of their situation and options open to them.
